Job summary

Micron Technology, Boise, Idaho, is seeking an Equipment Engineering Manager to build a best-in-class team for TD + HVM manufacturing in a new Memory Fab. The role focuses on equipment performance, yield optimization, and cross-functional collaboration across global sites, with travel as required.

You will recruit, train, and lead engineers and shift technicians, aligning priorities to Micron's strategic objectives and ensuring safety and high-quality standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of semiconductor equipment leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-related field.
• Understanding of manufacturing team structures and processes.
• Coaching and mentoring for career development.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team to improve equipment performance and install new tools for a new fab.
• Develop the team's strategic direction, allocate resources, and maintain succession plans for key positions.
• Drive fab optimization to maximize output and yield, reduce operating costs, and maintain high quality standards.
• Support new tool installations and existing tool modifications, relocations, and removals while applying global best-known methods.
• Champion safety, People policies, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication with team members, executives, and technical authorities.
• Collaborate with Technology Development, Process & Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities and suppliers; travel as required.
