Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of diesel mechanic experience for experienced technicians.
• Own personal hand tools to complete job duties.
• Ability to obtain a Valid CDL.
• Ability to read repair orders, manuals, and electrical schematics.

Responsabilités

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoots electrical, drivetrain, HVAC, brake, engine and suspension systems.
• Writes up accurate repair details on the Repair Order with procedures used.
• Reads fault descriptions and selects efficient repair methods.
• Communicates with Shop Foreman and Parts to obtain needed parts.
• Performs road tests to verify repairs and locate issues.
• Records hours charged to each Repair Order and documents work performed.
• Interacts with customers professionally and supports team technicians.
