Ryder is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Nazareth, PA to provide expert maintenance on heavy duty vehicles. You will perform standard and preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electronic issues, and work with customers to determine root causes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Completes complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Works unsupervised on most tasks.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
