Job summary

FleetPride is a leading distributor of heavy duty parts and service across the United States. A Technician III performs preventative maintenance, conducts advanced diagnostics, and trains other technicians to ensure high-quality repairs.

The role involves in-depth truck and trailer maintenance, brake, suspension, and engine work in a non-climate controlled shop setting, with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation or delivery to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems including leaf and coil springs.
