Ryder is seeking a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Savannah, Georgia. The role offers second shift hours (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) and a pay rate of $32.00 per hour with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The position includes tuition assistance, PTO from day one, and a strong emphasis on training and career development. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational/technical certification, and CDL Class A preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification post-secondary preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• 3+ years relevant work experience preferred.
• Must pass background checks and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Completes complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Mentors Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels.
• Adheres to safety, DOT and corporate compliance guidelines.
