Job summary

FleetPride invites applications for a Diesel Technician III in Sioux Falls, SD. The role covers preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and engine-related repairs across heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will train newer technicians and ensure high-quality workmanship in a non-climate controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associates degree.
• 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Troubleshoot electrical, exhaust, steering, and air conditioning systems.
• Overhaul and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
