Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Service Technician II in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves mastering preventive maintenance, performing basic and advanced repairs, and diagnosing vehicle systems with limited supervision.

You will also work in the shop between service calls and participate in occasional after-hours on-call rotations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience repairing Class 7/8 trucks and trailers, welding skills, and Air Brake certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Diesel tech cert/degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience repairing class 7-8 trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Repair brakes, suspension, electrical and exhaust systems.
• Test drive vehicles and components with proper equipment.
• Work in shop between service calls and participate in on-call rotation.
