Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification/post secondary degree or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred.
• All other certification as required by location, required.
• CDL CLASS A, preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy and medium duty equipment.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including routine preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer as applicable.
• Performs detailed mechanical inspections & repairs with minimal supervision.
• Mentors Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels as needed.
• Works in accordance with safety, DOT, MOT and corporate guidelines.
