Ryder is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Peoria, Illinois. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles using advanced diagnostics and tools. You will work with a team to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred/required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and repairs on heavy/medium duty equipment.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Mentor for Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels; ensure safety and compliance with DOT/MOT.
• Interact with drivers to determine nature of inquiry and provide solutions.
