Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical repair certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license; ability to operate basic shop tools.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system work on gas/diesel engines.
• Partnering with your supervisor to learn new skills through Penske’s training and hands-on coaching.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
