Job summary

Riverside Transport is seeking diesel technicians of all levels based on experience and education. Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel trucks, diagnose codes, and document notes while tagging parts for warranty. Ensure safety and quality in every service.

Preferred: ASE Diesel Certification or a one-year technical certificate plus 3–5 years of diesel experience; CDL a plus; familiarity with EGR/DPF systems and truck electronics is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1 year certificate from college or technical school or ASE Diesel Certification.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain diesel trucks according to standards.
• Record clear notes and charge out parts used.
• Tag removed parts for warranty and tagging procedures.
• Follow troubleshooting tree to diagnose and repair codes.
• Diagnose and repair oil and coolant leaks, drivelines, fuel systems and EGR/DPF/turbo related issues.
