Job summary

Schneider National in Salt Lake City is seeking a Senior Diesel Technician to prioritize safety and perform tractor estimations, diagnoses and complete routine rebuilds. You will work on company tractors with emphasis on reliability and efficiency.

Qualified candidates have a technical degree in diesel technology, at least two years of diesel experience, and proficiency with diagnostic software and estimations. You must provide your own tools within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology or related field.
• Minimum of two years of diesel technician experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostic software and aftertreatment repairs.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Must provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
