Job summary

Interstate Power Systems is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines across a variety of equipment. This role offers competitive pay, on-site training, and opportunities to advance your technical skills within a stable, growing company.

Shifts include day, evening, and alternative schedules with PTO from Day One and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have relevant diesel technician experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, hydraulic, and aftertreatment systems.
Complete preventative maintenance and major component repairs.
Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records.
Work safely and deliver high-quality workmanship.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
Perform troubleshooting on electrical, fuel, cooling, drivetrain, hydraulic, and aftertreatment systems
Complete preventative maintenance and major component repairs

Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend repair solutions
Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records
Work safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality workmanship

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a diesel technician, diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, fleet mechanic, truck technician, or related role
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment
Experience with electronic diagnostics and repair software is preferred
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
Valid driver's license required
