Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services in Brundidge, AL is seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician to join our fleet service team. You’ll diagnose and repair refrigeration units, read diagrams, and program microprocessors to keep trucks on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair refrigeration units and diagnose issues using OEM software.
• Read refrigerant unit wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Use a multimeter to perform electrical diagnostics.
• Program microprocessors in refrigeration units.
• Operate reclaiming machine to recover and recycle refrigerant.
• Solder joints and tubes; service truck systems (cooling, fuel, drive train, brakes, suspension).
• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Repair ABS, APU units, and trailer structures.
• Roadside service, tire repairs and equipment cleaning.
• Maintain accurate repair times and a clean workspace.
