Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services in Florida is seeking a Senior Diesel/Reefer Diagnostic Technician to join our fleet service team. You’ll diagnose and repair refrigeration units, read OEM codes, and perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics on trucks and trailers.

This role offers a flexible schedule with 3x12 or 4x10 shifts, ASE certification pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for hands-on work across retrofits, PMs, and roadside service.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration units and diagnose problems with the units.
• Read refrigerant unit wiring diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Use OEM software to diagnose issues, read codes, clear codes, and download data.
• Use multimeter to perform electrical diagnostics.
• Program microprocessors.
• Proper use of reclaiming machine to recover and recycle refrigerant.
• Solder joints and tubes as needed.
• Maintain PMs and DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Roadside service, tire repairs, and equipment cleaning.
