Job summary

Waste Management in Green Bay, WI, is hiring a Sr. Diesel Mechanic to service our fleet at the Green Bay hauling site. You’ll work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, 5:00am–1:30pm, performing diagnostics and repairs on trucks and diesel equipment to keep our community moving.

You’ll use modern tools, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a safe, efficient shop. This role offers a tool and boot allowance, comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) match, and tuition assistance to support

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant maintenance/mechanic experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
• Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs.
• Complete repairs within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area compliant with OSHA standards.
• Document parts usage and repair times in records.
