Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic - Experienced (Service Tech IV) to perform maintenance and repairs on complex rental equipment with limited supervision, delivering safe, high-quality service.

You will travel to customer sites as needed, train junior technicians, complete work orders, and maintain a professional, clean service vehicle. Strong mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
• Maintain paperwork/work orders daily.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties as needed.
