Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. seeks an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to repair and maintain complex diesel, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment. You will perform work with a high degree of independent judgment and provide exceptional service.

Based in Williston, ND, you will travel to job sites as needed, train other technicians, and keep accurate work orders and documentation. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment with limited supervision.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as needed; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
