Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) to perform maintenance and repairs on complex rental equipment in a safe, professional manner. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs. and travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Document all work orders accurately in a timely manner.
• Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required; keep service vehicle clean.
• Assist with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
