Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic - Experienced (Service Tech IV) in Missouri to maintain and repair complex equipment with minimal supervision.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, travel to job sites when needed, train junior technicians, and maintain detailed service records. A high school diploma and 5+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as needed; maintain service vehicle.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed; maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts; perform other duties as assigned.
