Job duties include :

Diagnose and repair diesel trucks with issues like smoking engines or clutch failures

Perform electrical, hydraulic, and air circuit testing using manuals and diagnostic tools

Complete all levels of preventive maintenance (battery service, oil / lube / filter changes, brake inspections, leak checks)

Inspect and repair systems such as brakes, steering, bearings, and electrical components

Disassemble and assess mechanical parts, identify needed repairs, and communicate with the Parts Department

Operate and test various diesel systems and components

Experience :

Minimum 3 years as a diesel mechanic in a lead or supervisory role

Must own full roll-away tool cabinet and portable tool cart

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Able to follow technical manuals and procedures

Clear communicator and team player

Job Types : Full-time

Pay : $34.00 $45.00 per hour
