Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Sales Ambassador for Western Michigan and the UP to represent the Core Laboratory Diagnostics brand with existing customers. You will manage accounts, drive revenue, coordinate orders and billing, and support assay integrations while expanding value and retention across the territory.

Travel up to 80% is required, with strong collaboration across sales, marketing, and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience with instrumentation in a laboratory setting.
• Experience providing technical product application and/or hardware support.
• Experience interfacing with customers.
• Strong people engagement and communication skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to travel up to 80% in the assigned territory and other domestic locations.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted partner to existing customers and manage retention.
• Develop accounts according to strategic plans for value expansion.
• Perform assay integrations and support technical lab needs.
• Improve customer satisfaction to drive retention and value expansion.
• Coordinate orders, delivery, and billing processes.
• Renew contracts and extend relationships to deter competition.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers on strategic accounts.
