Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Medical Sonographer and Vascular Technologist III to perform diagnostic general and vascular ultrasound procedures with independent judgment under physician supervision. Qualifications

• Degree or training in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography, acceptable to registry boards (ARRT/ARDMS).
• Registered ARRT or ARDMS required.
• Ultrasound General and OB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic general and vascular ultrasound procedures with independent judgment under physician supervision.
• Explain examinations to patients and complete departmental documentation.
• Perform non-invasive vascular testing and write preliminary interpretations.
