Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Radiological Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of diagnostic imaging equipment used in patient care. The role supports Diagnostic Imaging operations at the Northwest Houston location with advanced maintenance, vendor coordination, and clinical system network support.

Ideal candidates will be problem solvers with strong analytical skills, a degree in engineering or sciences, and experience in imaging

Qualifications

• Required: Associate's Degree Biomedical Technology, Electronics or related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 5 years experience in electronics or imaging equipment service; 3 years with Bachelor's degree; education may be substituted with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Diagnostic Imaging equipment service issues.
• Direct repairs and guide resources to resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot network, equipment, and operator issues affecting performance.
• Provide direction to radiological engineers regarding equipment malfunctions and corrective actions.
• Maintain imaging equipment functionality, performance, and image quality control.
