Job summary

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is seeking a Senior Radiological Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of diagnostic imaging equipment in patient care at the Northwest Houston site. You will work with vendors, clinical teams, and engineering resources to optimize functionality and image quality while supporting operational excellence.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, process improvements, and staying organized to maintain imaging

Qualifications

• Required: 5 years experience in electronics or imaging equipment service.
• Required: 3 years experience with Bachelor's degree.
• May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Physics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Diagnostic Imaging equipment service issues.
• Direct repairs and guide resources to resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot network, equipment, and operator issues affecting performance.
• Provide direction to radiological engineers regarding equipment malfunctions and corrective actions.
• Maintain imaging equipment functionality, performance, and image quality control.
