LMW Auto Repair in Eldersburg, Randallstown and Owings Mills, MD is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Automotive Technician. This Monday–Friday position offers hourly or flat-rate pay with weekly pay and no weekends.

Approximately 60–70% of the role focuses on diagnostics and advanced repairs, supported by Service Advisors handling parts and workflow. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, drivability and mechanical concerns, performing advanced diagnostic testing, completing engine

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Advanced automotive diagnostic and electrical skills.
• Strong drivability troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently.
• Own professional technician tools.
• ASE Certifications preferred; Maryland State Inspection License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns.
• Perform advanced automotive diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
• Complete engine and advanced mechanical repairs.
• Repair steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Document diagnostic findings and verify completed repairs.
