Job summary
Sav-Mor Automotive in Plano, TX is seeking an A-Level Automotive Technician specializing in advanced diagnostics, drivability, and electrical troubleshooting. The position pays $45–$60/hr on a flat-rate basis with weekly pay and a 35-hour guaranteed pay during the first two weeks.
You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM in a modern, well-equipped shop with Autel, Snap-on ZEUS, and factory scan tools, focusing on diagnostics and repairs without tasks like estimating or parts ordering.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Advanced automotive diagnostic skills.
- Strong electrical and drivability troubleshooting ability.
- Experience performing general automotive repair and maintenance.
- Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and drivability repairs.
- Diagnose electrical and vehicle performance concerns.
- Complete general automotive repairs and removal and replacement (R&R) work.
- Perform maintenance services and vehicle inspections.
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs).
- Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles.
- Collaborate with the technician team to maintain safe and efficient vehicle workflow.
