Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Richardson, TX is seeking a senior DevSecOps engineer to design and automate deployment and integration of applications onto a unified platform. Role requires leadership, mentoring, and deep expertise with Rancher, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Terraform, Terragrunt, and HashiCorp Enterprise. U.S.

citizenship and an active security clearance are required; onsite with possible hybrid arrangements. Travel up to 10% and participation in Agile ceremonies are expected as you help deliver

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience establishing and expanding DevSecOps.
• Deep technical expertise with Helm for package management and maintaining large-scale containerized PaaS environments (RKE2).
• Proficiency in modular infrastructure automation using Terraform and Terragrunt, including state management and CI/CD integration.
• Professional experience deploying and managing HashiCorp Enterprise solutions in production-grade or high-compliance settings.
• Strong background in enforcing desired-state configuration and eliminating configuration drift through automation using Ansible, Bash, or Python.
• Ability to integrate diverse technologies, automate procedures, document clearly, and demonstrate technical work to varied audiences.
• Active and transferable Secret - Current clearance is required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and automate deployment and integration of applications onto a common platform using modern DevSecOps practices.
• Lead and mentor engineers with technical guidance and support under team leadership.
• Develop, implement, and troubleshoot DIPN deployment automations while integrating familiar and unfamiliar technologies.
• Analyze gaps in technology solutions and align with team direction and architectural guidance.
• Create, automate, and refine installation, integration, and test procedures; document processes clearly.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support team planning and reviews.
• Travel up to 10%
