Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and secure modern infrastructure for federal projects. You will craft automated pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins, implement STIG-compliant security controls, and guide teams across classified environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
• 7+ years in DevSecOps engineering.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, automation and containerization.
• Expert with CI/CD tools and security scanning (STIG) implementation.
• Proficient in Linux environments (RHEL/Oracle Linux).
• Proficient in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience with AWS services and GovCloud.
• Familiar with STIG, SRG, OWASP, NIST.
• Excellent collaboration across global teams.
• IAT Level 2 Certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement automated technical solutions across classification environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines from scratch in GitLab CI and Jenkins with integrated security scanning and STIG validation.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates using CloudFormation to architect secure DevSecOps infrastructure across AWS environments (GovCloud, C2S, TC2S).
• Lead advanced troubleshooting by analyzing logs, performing root cause analysis, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Provide expert security guidance on secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and ATO support.
• Architect and build secure containerized solutions with Docker/OpenShift and Prisma security considerations.
• Perform code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
