Job summary

M9 Solutions seeks a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer III to support a government contract in Reston, VA, onsite. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and hands-on experience across CI/CD, IaC, and secure cloud architectures.

You will design pipelines, implement security controls, and guide junior engineers while collaborating with federal clients to ensure STIG compliance and continuous deployment across AWS GovCloud environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of DevSecOps experience across the SDLC.
• Expert in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Strong Linux scripting in Python/Bash.
• Proficient IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with ticketing systems (GitLab Service Desk, ServiceNow).
• AWS security architecture and STIG compliance.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, OpenSCAP).
• IAT Level 2 Certification.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders across a global enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automatic technical solutions across classification environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG validation.
• Create and maintain IaC templates using CloudFormation for AWS GovCloud, C2S, TC2S.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Provide security guidance for secure coding and ATO efforts.
• Architect and build secure containerized solutions with Docker/OpenShift and Prisma remediation.
• Perform code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
