Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Engineering organization. You will lead security integration across cloud-native systems (AWS/GCP), design secure-by-design architectures, and guide CI/CD pipelines in regulated healthcare environments.

You'll mentor engineers, enforce least-privilege IAM, and partner with Compliance and Security teams to uphold HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST standards while scaling nationwide.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software, infra, or security engineering with DevSecOps focus.
• Cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience securing containerized/Kubernetes environments and IaC pipelines.
• Hands-on CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Strong security knowledge (OWASP Top 10) and encryption practices.
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps vision across infrastructure, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP.
• Maintain security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures for engineering teams.
• Design and secure CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Lead IAM strategy and zero-trust enforcement.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
