Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, harden, and operate CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, and container platforms supporting the software lifecycle from code commit to production deployment. The role requires hands-on experience bridging database engineering, API development, DevSecOps automation, and secure platform architecture.

Candidates should have 8+ years in related fields and TS/SCI clearance, with strong AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC, and security

Qualifications

8+ years in DevSecOps, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or platform automation roles.
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, and with Git-based branching, tagging, and release workflows.
Experience deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using IaC, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
Experience containerizing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience integrating automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines, such as SAST, SCA, or image scanning.
Experience in Linux administration and with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with networking fundamentals, such as DNS, routing, load balancing, or TLS.
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or 12+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree.
Cloud or DevOps Certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, CKAD, and Security+ Certification.

Responsibilities

Design, build, harden, and operate CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, and container platforms.
Embed security controls, automate delivery workflows, and build scalable environments.
Partner with project teams to turn concepts into MVPs and reusable templates.
