Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an experienced Command & Control Systems Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure modernization for DoD programs. You will manage a team delivering containerized, secure platforms across data centers, the edge, and cloud, using Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps practices.

Expect collaboration with cloud architects and engineers, strong emphasis on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering with technical leadership on production systems.
• Production-scale Kubernetes experience including cluster deployment, day-2 operations, upgrades and security hardening.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience implementing and operating an observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or OpenTelemetry).
• Experience designing and deploying systems in secure, air-gapped, or DDIL environments.
• Ability to translate mission and reliability requirements into resilient, automated platform designs.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of relevant alternate experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+ CE certification.
