Job summary

Disney Cruise Line in Orlando seeks an experienced software engineer to advance our DevSecOps platforms that power enterprise delivery and secure, automated software releases across Disney Experiences.

You will collaborate with architecture and engineering teams, lead small projects, and stay current with AI tooling such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot to drive innovation and efficiency across the tech stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, or comparable field
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
• Expertise in Python, Go, Bash, and understanding of object-oriented programming
• Proficiency in CI/CD systems such as Harness and Jenkins with a proactive learning mindset
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Github Copilot

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects involving analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software enhancements or new products
• Perform testing and debugging of applications
• Code at component level for large or sophisticated software programs
• Interact with users to define system requirements and modifications
• Conceive, design, develop, test, and implement software components and new systems
• Design and develop highly scalable software systems and applications
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and AI tools
