Job summary
Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Senior Engineer, DevOps to lead design, implementation, and automation of cloud and on-prem infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment frameworks. You will drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across enterprise platforms.
You will build IaC solutions, automate provisioning, and lead DevOps best practices with cross‑functional teams, including SRE and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or related equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar).
- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar).
- Strong experience in at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Expertise in Kubernetes and container platforms; GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable delivery.
- Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Automate provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
