Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC in Reston, VA invites a Sr. DevOps Engineer III to design, implement, and maintain secure software pipelines across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.

You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to embed security into the development lifecycle and ensure compliant, reliable deployments. You’ll build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) with STIG validation, create IaC templates (CloudFormation, Terraform), and lead advanced incident analysis while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly is required.
• IAT Level 2 certification or equivalent.
• 10+ years in DevSecOps or similar roles with focus on automation.
• Expert in DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and automation tools.
• Experience delivering across multiple classified domains.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and teams to design automatic technical solutions across environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG validation.
• Create and maintain IaC templates using CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis with logs and metrics.
• Provide security guidance on secure coding, STIG compliance, and remediation.
• Mentor junior engineers and document best practices.
