Job summary

RavenTek is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in Manassas, VA to design, deploy, and maintain secure software and supporting infrastructure across all environments. You will work with software developers, cybersecurity, and operations to automate deployment pipelines and ensure compliance with security requirements.

The role requires strong Linux and Kubernetes skills, experience with IaC, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related technical roles.
• Experience supporting federal government, defense, operations, intelligence, or mission-focused environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications supporting mission requirements.
• Deploy and maintain applications across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Implement and manage Blue/Green deployment strategies and other deployment methodologies.
• Perform Linux system administration and application support activities.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC tools.
• Integrate automated security testing and scanning tools into pipelines.
• Deploy, secure, and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
• Support cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and other approved platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust and continuous compliance.
