Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join on a contract basis in Lewisville, TX. The role focuses on secure software development, with hands-on work in Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, IaC, and automated security testing.

The ideal candidate will lead secure CI/CD efforts, implement SAST/DAST/SCA, secure cloud and on-prem environments, and mentor teams while driving ongoing DevSecOps improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years in software/devops/related roles.
• 3+ years hands-on DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
• Strong security principles (encryption, auth, network security, vulnerability mgmt).
• Hands-on with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security controls.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA and vulnerability scanning into pipelines.
• Secure Azure, cloud, container, Kubernetes, and on-prem environments.
• Provide security guidance and mentoring to teams.
• Collaborate with development and operations to promote secure coding and deployment practices.
