Job summary
The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Digital Infrastructure Software Engineering Manager to lead 10-15 engineers in DevOps, platform reliability, and automation for a cutting-edge Air Dominance program. You will partner with product management, architecture, and stakeholders to align roadmaps and drive DevSecOps across platforms.
Candidates should have 5+ years of leadership in DevOps/SRE, strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer
Qualifications
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access and U.S. Citizenship.
- Leadership experience or Boeing leadership training is expected.
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, software/cloud engineering.
- Experience leading software engineering efforts and Agile/DevOps teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead 10-15 engineers to improve platform reliability and deployment velocity.
- Define processes, tooling, and automations for the DevOps practice.
- Coach and train engineers on DevOps best practices (IaC, monitoring, incident response).
- Coordinate with product management and architecture to align roadmaps and infrastructure plans.
- Manage budgets and forecasts for DevOps initiatives and modernization.
- Ensure security and compliance across DevOps activities (DevSecOps).
- Define and track metrics like deployment success rate, MTTR, and change failure rate.
