Job summary

Veeam Software is hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will implement IaC, manage Kubernetes at scale, and drive zero-downtime deployments with GitOps automation.

You will develop Python or Go tooling, improve observability, and ensure rapid on-call troubleshooting for complex distributed systems. A strong security posture is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with cloud-native ops experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Production experience with Kubernetes at scale and networking knowledge.
• Hands-on GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD, Spinnaker, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Coding ability in Python or Golang.
• SQL/Postgres, NoSQL MongoDB/Elasticsearch, and graph databases (Neo4j/Neptune).
• Strong Linux, bash, networking, load balancing, and service mesh fundamentals.
• Observability tooling with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

Responsibilities

• Security-first infrastructure and IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scale Kubernetes clusters with autoscaling and security controls.
• Zero-downtime deployments with blue/green and canary patterns.
• Observability engineering with metrics, logs, traces.
• Multi-cloud orchestration across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• On-call incident response for production issues.
• Automation with Python and Go to remove manual toil.
