Job summary

RPMGlobal seeks a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer 5 to design, implement, and maintain secure pipelines across classified mission environments.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC, enabling high-quality, secure software delivery. The role focuses on automating CI/CD with GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins, building IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation, and guiding teams on STIG compliance and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of DevSecOps experience focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability across the SDLC.
• Strong experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker).
• Proficient with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Proficient in Python and Bash in Linux environments (RHEL/Oracle Linux).
• AWS capabilities including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS; secure cloud architecture.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certs (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design automated solutions across multiple classification environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines from scratch in GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins with integrated security scanning and STIG validation.
• Provide guidance on pipeline troubleshooting and DevSecOps best practices.
• Create and maintain IaC templates using CloudFormation to secure AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in security, IaC, and compliance.
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous team improvement.
