Job summary

Greenboard is hiring a hands-on security engineer to own and scale our security posture as we grow. You’ll be the first dedicated security hire, shaping security across compliance, vendor diligence, infrastructure hardening, and secure development practices.

You’ll work with engineering, product, and business teams to meet fintech customers’ security expectations and prepare for international expansion. This is a high-impact, autonomous build-it role.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in security engineering, app security, or infra security.
• Hands-on with SOC 2 audits and another framework (GDPR/ISO 27001/PCI-DSS).
• Strong tech foundation: reading code, AWS infra, CI/CD environment.
• Experience with vulnerability tooling (Snyk, Semgrep, Qualys, Burp Suite).
• Familiarity with AWS Secrets Manager and IAM best practices.
• Experience coordinating third-party pentests.

Responsibilities

• Detect, triage, and remediate vulnerabilities across the stack.
• Manage third-party penetration tests and internal responses.
• Integrate security into the development lifecycle with guardrails and tooling.
• Own credential and secrets management, including rotation and access controls.
• Patch and harden infrastructure with engineering collaboration.
