Job summary

System One is hiring a cleared DevSecOps Generalist to design, automate, and secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines at Fort Meade in Maryland. The role focuses on GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and DoD compliance, bridging development, security, and operations.

The candidate will lead automated build and container hardening efforts, ensuring secure software delivery across defense cloud environments with DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Must be local to Maryland; able to commute to Ft. Meade.
• 3+ years in DevSecOps/DevOps or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Proven experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible.
• Strong automation scripting with Bash and Python.
• Designing and maintaining CI/CD processes (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Integrating SAST, DAST, and container scanning into pipelines.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Architecture Design with declarative GitOps workflows (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• cATO & Governance Automation to meet DoDI 8430 and cATO requirements.
• Iron Bank container hardening; automate CVE remediation and validation.
• Develop and refine microservices using modern languages; implement automated tests.
