Job summary

Quotient (A VTG Company) seeks a cleared DevSecOps Developer to design, automate, and secure our CI/CD pipelines at Ft. Meade. You will bridge development, security, and operations by using Red Hat, Ansible, and scripting to maintain secure processes.

Active DoD Secret clearance is required; 5+ years in DevSecOps and hands-on RHEL, Ansible, and scripting experience are essential. This hybrid, on-site role offers a competitive compensation range and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher).
• Must be local to Maryland and able to work on-site at Ft. Meade.
• 5+ years in DevSecOps/DevOps or related roles.
• Hands-on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Strong Bash and Python automation scripting.
• Design/maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience integrating SAST/DAST/container scanning into pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design declarative GitOps pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) with SAST, DAST, container scanning, SBOM generation.
• Automate policy-as-code to satisfy DoD gates and cATO requirements with real-time visibility and attestation.
• Harden containers to DoD standards; remediate CVEs; automate OpenSCAP/STIG validation and pipeline certification.
• Architect and refactor microservices using Go, Python, Java, or Rust; build automated unit/integration/contract tests.
