Job summary

Quotient (A VTG Company) is seeking a cleared DevSecOps Generalist to design, automate, and secure our infrastructure and deployment pipelines at Ft. Meade, Maryland, with hybrid work.

The role focuses on securing CI/CD processes using Red Hat, Ansible, and scripting, bridging development, security, and operations to meet DoD governance.

Candidates must have active DoD Secret clearance and 3+ years in DevSecOps, with hands-on RHEL, Ansible, and CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) required.
• Local to Maryland with on-site Ft. Meade availability.
• 3+ years in DevSecOps, DevOps, or related field.
• Hands-on with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Ansible for configuration automation.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting skills.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience integrating SAST/DAST and container scanning into pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design CI/CD pipelines via GitLab CI/GitHub Actions, including SAST, DAST, container scan, and SBOM.
• Automate policy-as-code to meet DoDI 8430/cATO gates with real‑time visibility and attestations.
• DoD container hardening and Iron Bank onboarding, remediate CVEs and validate with OpenSCAP/STIG.
• Architect and refactor microservices in Go/Python/Java/Rust with automated tests.
