Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead security-focused modernization across our national pharmacy platform.

You will embed security into the engineering lifecycle, shape cloud-native architectures, and drive secure CI/CD practices across AWS/GCP environments. In this hands-on role, you will mentor engineers, implement policy-as-code, and collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to meet HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST requirements while enabling scalable, reliable

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software/infra/security engineering with DevSecOps experience.
• Deep cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience securing containerized and Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• IaC pipelines security with Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of application security, OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with IAM, RBAC, zero-trust, and encryption best practices.
• Regulated environments experience (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps vision across infra, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP environments.
• Establish security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code security and governance.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Manage IAM strategy and least-privilege enforcement.
• Strengthen Kubernetes security posture.
• Oversee secrets management and encryption standards.
• Support HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST compliance efforts.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
