Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join an Agile Navy-focused team responsible for secure CI/CD, Kubernetes platform engineering, and zero-trust architecture. The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and rigorous security practices across on-prem and cloud environments.

You’ll implement AAA tooling, integrate security gates into pipelines, and lead development lifecycle improvements while mentoring peers and supporting requirements and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Active TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility (as per job).
• 5+ years in a DevOps or software engineering role.
• 3+ years implementing IaC, CI/CD, and AAA best practices.
• Experience with on-prem and cloud development lifecycles.
• Proficient with Linux systems, preferably Red Hat.
• Experience with Git and common DevSecOps toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute CI/CD pipeline setup, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Integrate security tools and gates into CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps.
• Implement AAA tooling to support zero-trust on Kubernetes platforms.
• Leverage tools like Git, Ansible, GitLab/Jenkins, Vault, Keycloak, Helm.
• Apply Software CM best practices and manage IaC workflows.
• Develop both on‑prem and cloud development environments.
• Maintain a secure, reproducible deployment lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and participate in design reviews and technical exchanges.
