Boston Scientific is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to drive DevSecOps and cybersecurity across the product lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating security into development, threat modeling, and ensuring compliance in a regulated medical device environment.

The position supports the Interventional Cardiology team and involves hybrid/onsite work at the Maple Grove, MN office with relocation assistance for select candidates.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Cybersecurity, CS, or CE.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with product security focus.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices.
• Experience in design/architecture reviews for embedded medical devices or similar tech.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST) and defense-in-depth principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and technical teams.

Mansioni

• Integrate security into the product development lifecycle across multiple product lines.
• Lead STRIDE threat modeling and security risk assessments.
• Embed security controls throughout CI/CD pipelines with product teams.
• Establish automation for vulnerability detection, secure coding, and patching processes.
