Job summary

Trinnex is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team in Gaithersburg, MD. You will work at the intersection of cybersecurity and DevSecOps to protect software systems that support water utilities, embedding security into the SDLC and securing cloud-native workloads.

You\'ll lead threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and secure coding practices, collaborating with engineering and IT to remediate findings and strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop custom rules.
• Lead incident response for complex events including forensics.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and pen tests.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with IT and dev teams.
• Review security controls and lead remediation per frameworks.
• Research threat actors and develop threat intelligence.
• Mentor junior analysts and build team capability.
• Support enterprise security strategies aligned with business goals.
