Job summary

Trinnex in the United States is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team, operating at the intersection of cybersecurity and DevSecOps to protect software used in water utilities and infrastructure.

You will embed security controls in the SDLC, conduct threat detection, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices, while collaborating with engineering to remediate issues and strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on security operations.
• Experience across threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring, analyzing complex alerts and traffic anomalies; develop custom monitoring rules.
• Lead response efforts for complex incidents (e.g., APTs, data breaches), including forensic analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and simulated attacks across infrastructure and applications.
• Partner with IT and development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen SDLC security.
• Review security controls for regulatory compliance; drive remediation activities.
• Research threat actors and develop forward-looking threat intelligence and defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development.
• Support enterprise security strategies aligned with business objectives.
